LASATA JOSHI

Research Officer

Lasata is a researcher with an experience in conducting qualitative studies on topics such as indigenous practices, the environment, and disaster diplomacy. Her areas of interest lie in sustainability, agriculture trade, and solving socio-economic problems. She has also been developing her expertise in climate change, actively engaging in climate discussions. 

At PEI, she works closely with the office team and assists in research and program management. Specifically, she is responsible for the coordination of the Nepal Agricultural Market Development Programme (NAMDP) Phase II. Prior to PEI, she has worked as a Product Manager for a fintech company that provides access to affordable finances to grassroots entrepreneurs.

She has a Master’s degree in Sustainable Development from Kathmandu University after completing a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from the same university.
