This map (beta version) puts together and visualizes a comprehensive database of Nepal’s national-level infrastructure projects and the various sources of aid that was used to finance their construction. It provides key project information, including sector, project cost and financing details, and the source and modality of funds This map is part of PEI’s research on the rise of China and the impact it is having on the evolution of aid.

This map is PEI’s on-going effort to bring together into one portal all types of information related to Nepal’s water resource. To begin, we provide a complete visualization of all of its rivers. We are also documenting all of the hydropower projects (excluding microhydro) that are being built in these rivers. In addition to being able to view their geospatial location, users are able to see the salient features of these projects.
